Blank Text Message

I received a blank text from my sister yesterday. I have been tryong to think of a clever rejoinder:
1. Phone her up and say angrily. "If you have something to say, just say it. stop playing these twisted mind games.
2. reply with a blank text
3. Phone her and say. "I really appreciate your text. I know it was hard for you to write. It was certainly hard for me to read. "

any suggestions?

Progress or procrastination?

Not much progress since yesterday. I have spent a good two hours filling in my profiles on etsy and on blogger. It took a lot longer than I thought to correct all my spelling.

I have come to the conclusion that I need to use sandpaper on the outdoor table. If only I had some.

I guess the next thing on my ‘to do’ list is to get crafty, and quick! I need to make a bunch of stuff to put onto etsy. Earrings, necklaces and fascinators. We are coming into spring.

Well here it is, a little promise to myself that by this time tomorrow I will have at least 3 items to put onto etsy.

Now that I have set a deadline I have a lot of fooffing around to do. I guess I had better get cracking.

Hey, send me a comment if you have any suggestions on how I can creatively procrastinate.

First posting!!

Well here we are. My very first post as Auntie Megs. I have set up a store on etsy here and I wanted to set up a blog to go along with it. I have started out with some earring displays but there will be more as I go along. Give me a break! It has only been one day!!

I have been working on a special project for the last couple of days now. Restoring an old outdoor table. It has been out in the open for about twelve years and I am trying to get it back to red again. I am at the stage of using vinegar to soften the black slimy wood gunk coating so I can scrape it off. Tough going. Tough on my fingernails. I have tried to convert a hand held electric drill into a sander, but it didn't work very well. There is nothing like being slapped in the face by a vinegar coated scourer as it comes spinning off the drill bit.
